“It’s the most snow since 1966!”

The huge Paradiski area, which combines Les Arcs, Vallandry and La Plagne, has announced that snow levels in parts of the domain are the deepest they have been at this time of year for 46 years! At 1600m the snow depth is at 175cm (just under six feet) and near the top of the slopes at 3000m it’s at 3.4 metres – more than 11 feet.

Paradiski is not the only area to be boasting! Throughout the Alps snow for January has hit record levels, and with more on the way and sub-zero temperatures over the next few days, the powder looks like it will be light, fluffy and a perfect 10.
